Arklight Sounds was founded in 2021 by Kai Saruwatari in order to provide an easily accessible music composition/recording/production service for all levels of artists and content creators.
As an independent company, Arklight Sounds aims to support and enhance any type of creative project - whether it be music for artists, film, or immersive experience.

KAI SARUWATARI
Composer
Born in Japan, and raised in Hawaii, USA, Kai is a music composer for film, video games, pop music, and live exhibition events.
In 2020, Kai graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BA in Film Scoring and a minor in Video Game Scoring.
Upon graduating and founding Arklight Sounds in 2021, he moved to Japan the following year in 2022, where he currently works on both U.S. and Japanese projects while collaborating with producers and artists from both countries.
Kai's inspirational composers include Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brad Mehldau, and Yorushika's n-buna.
